Dolan's performances at Chorley caught the eye of scouts, and in 2020, he earned a move to Preston North End in the EFL Championship. "The pace of the game, the quality of the players – it was all a massive step up. But I felt I had the determination and the ability to make the transition." "They told me they were interested in signing me, and it was an opportunity I simply couldn't turn down. To be able to play in one of the top leagues in the world, it was a dream come true."
